HELLO THERE FRIENDS!
My name is Melissa. Nope, not Iza Pearl, sorry. She was my great, great grandmother. What a lucky darling she was to have such a fabulous name! I’m a designer living, working, and breathing in the Big D. My husband and I have a bazillion different hobbies—from running to reupholstery to sewing stuffed animals. We are always up to something. We think it’s cool, most think we’re crazy. I’m okay with that. As a toddler, I sported an array of stylish sunshields for the eyes, in elementary school a funky hat adroned my head everyday. I’m used to the crazy title. Now, I try to channel my creative explosions into colorful, lovely art that will A) knock your socks off and B) beautify this lovely planet of ours!
